General Bakery Requirements:
Available to work during any and all store hours.
Ability to manage yourself and take it upon yourself to think ahead.
Cooperate and collaborate with the rest of the staff to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
Maintain good communication with all staff members.
Strong attention to detail in quality and consistency.
Efficient and clean work style.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area and storage areas.
Operate quickly in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and remain calm under pressure.
Great ability to manage time productively.
General knowledge of the products we make.
Current food handlers card.
Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description.
Reliability to arrive to shifts on time (remember 5 minutes early is on time!).
Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Standing is required for almost the entire work day.
Safely using large equipment (mixers, espresso machines, etc.) and knives.
Use of natural and commercial cleaning supplies.
Front of House Counter Requirements:
Serve customers in a friendly, responsive and timely fashion.
Remember names and likes/dislikes creating a personal experience.
Stock pastry counter and maintain its appearance.
Stock pantry shelves and maintain its appearance.
Keep floors, counter-spaces, and all surface areas spotless.
Operate POS system to complete cash and credit card transactions, open and close the register.
Hand and count cash accurately.
Minimum 1+ years of Front of House experience.
Ready to flex some creative genius in the kitchen.
Safely operate commercial mixers, ovens and other appliances.
Prep menu items for the day in an organized fashion.
Bake menu items.
Roll, scoop, cut, mix and fill creating a consistent product.
Fulfill prep tasks as needed, such as cutting, shredding, chilling, packaging, etc.
Keep work area in pristine, clean condition.
Minimum 1+ years of Kitchen experience.
General kitchen safety knowledge, ideally with a food handlers certificate.
All major holidays off.
3+ week winter break (Christmas Eve through mid-January).
Staff lunches/occasional trips.
Sundays and Mondays off (aside from occasional Sunday private parties).

BAKERY INTERN: 15+ hoursThe flow of the morning’s bake will be due to your handiwork each day. Making sure ingredients are stocked, the baker’s are never in need, and anticipating the needs to create the best day ever. All of our items will look and taste impeccable because of you. And that’s pretty dang special.
PANTRY BAKER/AKA GRAHAMER: 8-10 hours, 1-2 days/week
This position will consist of keeping our retail pantry stocked and fresh! Graham crackers (the most important thing we make!), mixes, jarring, vanilla extract, peanut butter, etc. This is for someone who enjoys repetitive tasks with an eye for detail. Day and time is flexible, the right candidate is more important!
MORNING BAKER: 30+ hours, weekday/endsReporting to the head baker, your goal will be to produce an exceptional product with expediency. The priority of this role is to handle the treats as delicately and intentionally as possible; mixing, rolling, scooping, proofing, cutting, frosting and filling them to perfection to ensure a beautiful end product. A strong internal instinct for flavor and style are a must. This position will focus heavily on cookies doughs as well as prepping, executing and packaging our pantry items.
CAKE DECORATOR: 15+ hours, 3 days/week
Reporting to the head baker, your goal will be to fill, frost and decorate simple, yet stunning, super tall cakes. Each masterpiece will show that real ingredients can be a showstopper. Efficiency and time management are key for this position, as well as working super focused in the busy kitchen. Some cross over decorating into cupcakes, cookies, and other mini treats will be a part of this position.
FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER: 35+ Hours, weekday/Saturdays required, occasional Sunday
Reporting to the owner, you will be executing a superb customer experience consistent with our brand in a way that has our guests coming back time and again. Asking for you by name is the highest compliment. You will be operating swiftly maintaining a beautifully stocked pastry counter and pantry while working seamlessly with your fellow team members. Must be strong and confident to work independently. In addition to the day to day operations, the Front of House Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all front of house staff, including training, scheduling and educational programs created with the owner. The Front of House Manager will schedule and host all private parties with our clients in a most efficient manner. As the face of the bakery, it is imperative that the Front of House Manager be a strong and assertive personality that loves people and providing a leading example of customer service.
FRONT OF HOUSE/COUNTER: 15+ Hours, weekday/Saturdays required, occasional Sunday

EVENT COORDINATOR/COUNTER: 10+ Hours, Saturdays required, occasional Sunday
Reporting to the owner, you will be executing a superb customer experience consistent with our brand in a way that has our guests coming back time and again. Asking for you by name is the highest compliment. You will be operating swiftly maintaining a beautifully stocked pastry counter and pantry while working seamlessly with your fellow team members. Additionally, as our Event Coordinator, you will be the main liaison for our guests hosting their most special of events within our bakery space. Attention to detail, master planning and scheduling skills, and an outgoing, assertive attitude required. Must be strong and confident to work independently. This position requires shifts worked at the counter.
